Essential Duties:

  • Prepares and meets with the Department of Health and the Bureau of Human Services Licensing and the Office of Developmental Programs as needed
  • Develops and oversees implementation of quality performance systems including but not limited to announced or unannounced chart reviews, on-site observations and incident reviews.
  • Tracks plans of correction and follow-up with compliance.
  • Attends and participates in Quality team meetings and Safety meetings as appropriate.
  • Provides oversight of the Incident Management System.
  • Manages EIM system and related timelines.
  • Coordinate the assignment of investigations and ensure the completion of all required documents and meetings.
  • Conducts certified investigations as needed
  • Attends regular departmental meetings including management meetings as needed.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of ICF/ID, 6400, 6500, 2380, and 2390 and 6100 regulations.
  • Develops trend analysis for teams upon request.
  • Conducts quarterly certified investigator peer reviews as scheduled.
  • Participate in chart and site audits, incident and fire drill audits and site audits as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required and five years experience in a professional or management capacity with a knowledge of regulatory requirements and the Incident Management Bulletin.  Must be a Certified Investigator.  Driver’s license required.
