The function of the Residential Supervisor is to serve and motivate staff and residents to reach their highest level of capability and to increase their opportunities for success in keeping with our Core Values of Compassion, Dignity, Charity, Justice, and Excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervises Direct Care staff, activities, and related job functions for the efficient operation of the residential program.
- Effectively provides guidance, directions, and demonstrates great ability to exercise good judgment in applying regulations in day-to-day operations and enforce policies and procedures to direct care staff.
- Schedule staff efficiently to ensure adequate coverage, utilize replacement staff when appropriate in cases of vacancies.
- Responsible for ensuring that implementation and execution of active treatment is completed.
- Provide transportation to/from medical appointments and community outings using a company vehicle.
- Report any changes in the health or status of the residents.
- Complete daily documentation.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- 2 years’ experience in supervising residential direct care staff.
- Experience working in the pediatric intellectual disability field (preferred).
- Valid Driver’s License with 3yrs driving experience.
